PERSONALITY:
Juno comes from a rather ordinary family, nothing special and usually just there. And, if given the time and right person, she would admit to feeling that way at times. She prefers not to think about that though, no time to waste on the negative if it holds you back. Because of this motto, she's usually quiet around people she isn't comfortable with. And in return, it causes people to see her as stuck up and snobby. Truthfully though, she isn't. She usually attempts to be very polite, finding that wasting time with arguing, battling, anything dealing with fighting, isn't worth anything. Around her friends, she usually comes off as funny and charming. The wit that makes a Ravenclaw really stands out. However, if one does something terribly stupid, she can't help but look at them in a condescending way and have a tone to her voice to match it. The closer one is to her heart the more likely she'll show off her outspoken part--and if that's around other students she's not familiar with it only leads to more conclusions about her having a big head.
Around boys, Juno is not one to fool around. Her parents named her after the Goddess of marriage and somehow that fell into her personality. She doesn't want to have sex with some boy just because he whispers sweet nothings to her. Plus the lack of boyfriends in her life play a card in that. She's a long term girl, unlike most who have been with, what, ten boys? She's only kissed two. Obviously, neither worked out since she is currently single. Not that she's complaining, with a boyfriend you always have to be careful about what you're saying so they don't become jealous. She has had the habit of crushing on close guy friends though.

HISTORY:
Juno came from parents who met out of a crazy, random, happenstance. Nothing special, a mere casual run in where Mikey saw Libby as pretty and decided to ask her out on the spot. The typical "wanna go get coffee?" line. Out of that sprung many dates, from the elegant restaurant, to the home cook meal with wine, to meeting the parents. All within a year, and from that year Mikey proposed to Libby in 2025. Libby was hesitant at first, but did agree in the end. What Libby didn't know, was that Mikey was not exactly normal. And she didn't realize that until a week after marrying him. At first it was only small things; furniture would move a tad bit, the spoon would start mixing the spaghetti on its own. She thought she was just going mad...until Mikey was caught levitating the bed when she came home.
It lead to a fight, a nasty fight. Not about the fact that Mikey was a wizard, more so that he was a wizard and didn't even bother to tell Libby. She was not happy with the secret being kept from her. She had stormed out, wanting to take a walk and ended up going to the neighbor hood park. After a few hours Mikey joined her, pulling the classic "I was wrong, you were right" that any girl loves to hear from her man. Libby knew it would take adjusting to, a lot of adjusting to. What was she going to tell her parents? Well, nothing for now, she'd wait a few yearslike until they were on death bedsto tell them.
After two years of being married, Libby became pregnant with the girl who would be their first kid. It had taken a few months but Libby knew what she wanted to name her daughter. During her school days, Libby had taken a class on Mythology, learning about the Gods and Goddess, the demi-gods, the Titans, all of them. There had always been one to stand out; Hera, or as the Romans called her, Juno. Libby loved how she protected the sanctity of marriage, and yet was strong and highly worshiped. She wanted her daughter to be strong like Juno, and so the name Juno was given to the girl. Helena was simply chosen because it sounded "nice" between Juno and Tyler. A year later, they had another little girl; but since this history is about Juno, let's just focus on Juno.
When Juno was five her first sign of magic popped up. the neighbors dog was bothering the little girls while they played in the front yard and their mother worked on the garden. It was mostly causing problems with Juno's little sister and Juno felt the need to protect her. And within an instant the dog's voice was gone--it still is. The dog did not vanish, only its voice. The muggles in the neighbor hood still aren't sure what happened but for awhile some believed that Juno had done something violent to it; though nothing was ever proved. Six years later, Juno received her letter to Hogwarts and sent off to Diagon Alley with her father. She stayed rather close to her father, all the people that were there was a bit disturbing. Did they all know magic? No, that wasn't possible in Juno's mind. But, apparently it was.
Juno was one of the last to be sorted, after Romulus Lupin and before Venus Warrington. So she wasn't the only one named after a character in Roman Mythology, that made her feel better. Her name was never something fantastic, a bit annoying actually. But being sorted in Ravenclaw was intriguing, though her father never told her about the Houses, but Ravenclaw had blue and blue was always pretty. Upon sitting at the table she found herself sitting next to Ignatius Salvatore Insana. His name made her laugh, more so the last name, Insana, it was similar to insane. Except she never called him insane, he was going to be Iggy until the days died out.
