At the end of the 1996 school year, Professor Dumbledore is killed by Professor Snape, and Harry is left with the task of finding and destroying Voldemort’s horcruxes. During that summer, the Golden Trio sets out to find these horcruxes with little to no knowledge about their whereabouts. And by the time they discover the real locket, someone knows what they are up to and is dead-set on stopping them. Severus Snape, on a night watch, saw the trio go into the old Order of the Phoenix headquarters; Number 12 Grimmauld Place. He informs the Dark Lord of this occurrence and he, along with other Death Eaters are sent to get them and bring Harry back. The Death Eaters took Harry, Ron and Hermione by surprise at their hideout, and after a fierce battle they took Harry. Hermione and Ron were left for dead as they were wounded and unconscious. That night Harry Potter, “the boy who lived”, was killed by Lord Voldemort. His body was left on the street in front of the Hogshead for someone to find. This was a warning of what was to happen to anyone who dared go against the Dark Lord.
When Spetember came around, the Death Eaters took over Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Draco Malfoy was ordered to go back and finish his last year and make sure the students didn’t rebel. Professor Snape was made Headmaster of Hogwarts, and the Carrows were hired to teach Potions and Dark Arts. With the ministry of Magic, and Hogwarts, under the Dark Lords rule how will the wizarding community survive? Will they have hope, even with Harry Potter dead? Or will they give in to the dark times? You decide what happens in The Chosen!
