lucas is the youngest child to mark and june grey. his parents met one another in their first year at hogwarts together and had been friends up until two years after they had graduated. june had relized that she loved mark as more than just a friend and when she saw him one night when he was walking home, she couldn't help but walk up to him and tell him how she felt. it had been a bad night though, as he had just stood there and looked at her, completely shocked by what she had just said. it wasn't until the next day that he had come over to her house and said that he too had felt the same and he didn't want to live without her and since then, they have been together. it was about a year of dating before they got married and then it was only a few months and they were pregnant with their first child. a boy, john.
it was just two years later that june and mark had yet another child. or so they thought it was only one. they had gone a while without knowing that she was pregnant with twins and when she found out, she couldn't have been more happy. the day that lucas was born, so was his twin sister, lily. june spent most of her time raising the three kids they had or heading off to work. she would ask the neighbor girl, who was eighteen, to come over and watch them for a while. they had never really had a lot of money but they did have enough to make it by and to make sure that their kids had all that they needed. growing up, lucas was always the little trouble maker in the house and always doing the complete opposite of what his parents wanted him to do.
if they asked him to clean his room, instead he would make even more of a mess and then go run outside and play in the yard after his parents told him not to. he would always pull pranks on everyone in his family. harmless yet fun ones that always landed him in trouble. he had a big imagination and hated being confined to his room and doing just what his parents told him to do, when they told him to do it. his sweet twin sister though, was always staying out of trouble and doing what her parents asked to her to do, same with their older brother john. now, don't getme wrong, though lucas is a rebel and such, he is a complete sweetheart. all he wants is to have a little fun in his life.
when john headed off to hogwarts, it had been no surprise to find that he had been put into ravenclaw house. he was a brilliant kid growing up and always knew what he wanted and went for it. two years later, when lucas and lily headed off to hogwarts, it was no huge surprise that lily had been sorted into hufflepuff. lucas though, had been sorted into slytherin, just like his father. though he had his tough side, he didn't exactly fit in all that well with all the other slytherins. he was way too sweet and kind. not only that, he believed that muggles have rights just like everyone else.
it had been on the train ride to hogwarts that he had met his best friend, teagan and though they were in different houses, they always seemed to be together. he loved spending time with her and talking to her. when their third year came around, they had both started to date one another and since then, have been together. at times, he gets teased by his friends for being with her for so long but, he wouldn't change anything. lucas is completely in love with her and would do anything for her. now that he is in his last year at hogwarts, he can't wait to be out on his own, in the real world.
personality:
lucas here is a total sweetheart. he loves making new friends with anyone and everyone and is a very funny and kind person. now, don't get me wrong, though he is sweet and all, he is still a slytherin and does have his bad moments. he can get pretty angry and has been in one or two fights in the past. he can be nasty towards others but overall he's a good guy. he loves to make people laugh and to pull pranks on people. he's got a wide imagination and loves adventures. he's the kind of guy that would go and watch a girly movie with the girl he loves or even do all of that mushy romantic stuff for them, just to make them feel special.
he can be a complete gentleman when he wants to be. holding doors open and carrying books and such. lucas is a pretty smart kid too. i'm not saying he's some super genius or anything but he does well in all of his classes. passes them all and does his best. he is a hard worker and very driven. he likes to work for everything that he wants instead of having them handed to him. he can be very protective of the one's that he loves and cares about. he is always watching out for his twin sister, who he is very close to, and his girlfriend. not only them but his family. he would do anything to protect them. overall, i think that lucas is a pretty decent guy. of course, he has his moments and he can be a jerk but overall, he's a good person and he just means well.
