"i jumped off a waterfall and there were very sharp
rocks at the bottom. everyone was telling me not to
do it, but i figured why not? even if i got hurt it wasn't
like my body wasn't going to heal itself or st mungo's
couldn't fix it. "

"really? i stopped celebrating my birthday back when
i was like, thirteen. this year was my sweet sixteen
though, and i forced my sisters to have a tea party

SAMPLE POST:
a small laugh escaped from jocelyn. "i regret nothing, mister." it was easy for miss longbottom to poke fun at linus because at the end of the day they were still friends. "plus, you'll never hurt me" she finished, sticking her tongue out at him. sure he could torture her with words, completely destroy any kind of confidence she ever built up, and drive away her sanity, but in the end of the day they were friends. she couldn't imagine linus being so mad at her that he was purposely trying to make her life miserable and likewise she'd never do the same for him. "im not using his name to help me" jocelyn stated, making sure that it was clear. "i-i...um... i barely remember our first year... it was so long ago, you know?" joce lied. she very much remembers the slytherin boys picking on her, but thats just about it. the idea of linus at least trying to help made the girl blush so she looked down to cover her eyes.
"it may be easy for you but there's a reason most of us aren't sorted into ravenclaw." jocelyn tried to explain. of course, she had never tried getting into ravenclaw's common room because she was to nervous. maybe jocelyn was smart enough to get the answer right, but chances were she'd freak out and over think or just stand there mumbling. "you? trying to behave? i'd like to see that" jocelyn said with a laugh. maybe their idea's of 'behaving' were slightly different. parties were never really joce's scene, she'd just find a nice seat near the walls and watch everyone, however linus fit right in. sometimes he'd do really stupid things, but for the most part they weren't as stupid as other students. "maybe i like it that way, warry. to many people means to much drama." still he was right, joce was a hermit. maybe meeting people would be nice, but for now she'd rather just stick with the people she knew.
and then linus warrington kissed her. this wasn't one of those oh-i-accidentally-tripped-and-our-lips-brushed-against-each-other-kiss this was a full on kiss! in public! with linus warrington! she never even imagined this would happen, he was just a family friend, her childhood partner in crime and now... this? what was this? it was nice, jocelyn could tell you that. in fact if he wasn't holding on to her hand she could have easily melted away. wait, what? jocelyns mind was scrambling for some kind of answer, some kind of reason, but the only thing she could really think about was linus words. “why would i be happy for you when the only guy i want you to be with is me?” did he really mean that? it seemed like he did, but warrington was always one to trick her and play with her emotions. and yes, part of jocelyn loved every moment of this but sadly the negatives outweighed the positives and she had to pull away.
the hufflepuff took a half of step back, careful of not to trip over herself (it happened a lot more then she'd like to admit). all she could do was look back up at linus. what did he expect to happen now? the best jocelyn could do was stare back with big blue eyes. she had to say something to break the awkward silence, but all joce could do was stand there. this is bad, she thought to herself, just standing here is bad. "w-war... wh-what...i.. yo-... no. th-this... no." jocelyn looked at the ground as she stumbled out very inaudible words. overall she was mad. how in the world could he do this to her? he couldn't just kiss who ever he wanted and get away with it. especially with so many people watching. jocelyn finally looks back up, her hand raising to slap him across the face. if only that happened, if only she was confident enough to scream and yell and actually hit someone. maybe in another situation, with another person, but not was with linus warrington. instead her hand found its way around the back of his neck, her fingers tangling up in his gold hair as she kissed him again.
